Van Mohatsav is a week long festival of tree planting and is organized every year in the first week of July across India. During the festival millions of trees are planted. The celebration of Van Mohatsav week at Darshan Academy, Sundargarh was an ideal opportunity to instill personal and social responsibility in our students towards safeguarding trees and forests. Our students from nursery to class X actively participated and showed great eagerness while planting the saplings of various trees along with the teachers, principal and guests. The principal encouraged children to protect trees which are critical to maintaining ecological equilibrium.
