Students of the pre-primary wing of Darshan Academy, Sundargarh had a Pre-Janmashtami celebration with mirth and joy. The festival commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna. The students came dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, and playmates and friends of Krishna’s childhood. They were accessorized with colorful bangles, dhotis and peacock crowns to set the Janmashtami mood. The school premises was decorated with balloons, flutes, and matkies giving the vibes of festivity. A special assembly was conducted wherein the students swayed to the tunes of traditional songs.
