Independence Day is a day to pay tribute and remember all the freedom fighters who fought for the independence of the country. On August 15, 1947, India was declared independent from the British colonialism of more than 200 years. The struggle for freedom of India from the British rule lasted for over 90 years from 1857 to 1947, witnessing the sacrifices of many brave hearts who laid down their lives for the freedom of their country and people.
The students of Darshan Academy, Sundargarh celebrated the 78th Independence Day on 15th of August, 2024 with full zeal and zest. All the children were dressed in tricolor to represent the National Flag. The teachers of Darshan Academy guided the students to present the parade and patriotic dance and song performances. They also stood up in respect and sang the National Anthem together with great pride and honor for this great Nation. The celebration filled the whole ambience with festivity and patriotism.
