The 141st Birth Anniversary of one of the greatest Tamil poets, Subramanya Bharathi, was celebrated at Darshan Academy, Sundargarh on December 11. As part of the celebration, various arts and literary competitions for students were conducted. Students with verve and enthusiasm expressed through their performance the influence of Bharathi and his impact on Tamil. Thoughtful speeches and debates by the students brought the quintessence of schooling. The catch-up was the patriotic feel and the unitary wholeness.
