Sense Organ Activity

The sense organs are the body organs by which humans are able to see, smell, hear, taste, and touch or feel. The five sense organs are the eyes (for seeing), nose (for smelling), ears (for hearing), tongue (for tasting), and skin (for touching or feeling). These are the primary means to gain new knowledge. We rarely experience it with one sense alone. Our sense organs work together to give us a total picture of our experiences.  Using many sense organs  to gain information helps to learn to be more meaningful and useful.

In our academy, we create an activity for pre-primary students to understand the five sense organs. Sensory play activates connections in the brain’s pathways, enhancing a child’s ability to learn and retain information. By utilizing the five senses, children develop skills to solve complex problems, boost self-confidence, strengthen core muscles and agility, expand imagination and improve language.
