Evaluation

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation

  • Evaluation is objective based and assesses scholastic and non-scholastic areas.
  • Evaluation is an integral part of the teaching learning process and evaluation results are used as feedback to improve the process of learning.
  • Evaluation is continuous and comprehensive.
  • The academic year (April to subsequent March) is divided into two terms.
  • Performance during the academic session is evaluated through class performance, home assignments, projects, worksheets and evaluative tests.
  • Non-scholastic areas are evaluated objectively and assigned grades in each term.
  • Project activities (Individual, group and class,) assignments and surveys are “learning by doing experiences” and are spread over the entire term. A schedule for projects is prepared at the beginning of the term. A common education criteria for projects has been developed.
