FROM THE HEAD'S DESK

At Darshan Academy Sundargarh we aim to preserve and produce the highest standard of excellence in all our endeavors. We prepare students to believe in themselves, set realistic goals, and strive towards achieving them at physical, mental, and spiritual levels. Our mission is to create generations of peacemakers and well balanced human beings. Teachers strive to be role models and great motivators for the students.

They are perpetual learners who update their knowledge and skills in workshops and continually use innovative practices to bring about desirable results in the students’ understanding. The school is part of a chain of 22 schools under the aegis of Darshan Education Foundation. The lush green campus with a state of the art infrastructure provides a conducive environment for sports, meditation, and learning. A holistic approach is followed for the development of body, mind, and soul for all learners.

Students engage in community projects to help people in need. At Darshan Academy we strive to provide a strong foundation of learning for our students and empower them to become creative and innovative problem solvers.

Darshan Academy provides an education that embraces all aspects of a child’s being, enabling students to meet challenges and lead life with a knowledge supported by wisdom, ethical values, good decision-making skills, as well as equipoise and a respect for all life. Darshan Academy is committed to help students develop their full potential – physically, intellectually, artistically, emotionally, and spiritually. In addition to being immersed in a rich academic curriculum, students meditate and follow a daily lesson from the Darshan Academy spiritual curriculum. Students are trained for life to be high achievers and good human beings. They learn goal setting, creative thinking, communication skills, selfless service, time management, and the use of technology and inquiry. Students are encouraged to see themselves as citizens of a global community whose prosperity and well-being depend on harmony and co-operation.

DARSHAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION

Darshan Education Foundation has been providing students with an excellent all-round education since the inauguration of its first school, Darshan Academy Meerut, in India, in 1995.
